Luis Nevarez

Luis “Lulu” Nevarez, 13, of Pampa passed away on October 18, 2021 in Pampa.

Mass will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Luis Rene Lopez, Parochial Vicar, officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Luis was born June 30, 2008 in Pampa to Irma and Luis Nevarez, Sr. He was currently an 8th grader at Pampa Junior High and played on the football team as center. He also was a member of the Pampa Patriot baseball team where he played centerfield. Luis had a contagious smile and was a great friend and loved to make people happy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Hector Nevarez.

Survivors include his parents, Irma and Luis Nevarez, Sr. of Pampa; a brother, Sergio Nevarez and Juanita Olivarez of Pampa; God Parents, Vivian and Patricia Olivas of Los Lunas, New Mexico; and a nephew, Emilio Nevarez of Pampa.
