Lynn was born on June 14, 1948 in Wheeler to Charlie and Willie Odel Brittain. She grew up and attended school in Kelton. After high school, she moved to Amarillo to start her new life. While in Amarillo she would have her only child, Micah. Lynn worked in the service industry most of her life and she was employed and managed a Diamond Shamrock for twenty years. During her tenure she came to know all her regular customers and make several friends along the way.

Lynn was a fun woman who enjoyed dancing, computer games, family gatherings, and she took great pride in taking care of her house and belongings and keeping it all spotless. What was most important to Lynn was her family- she liked to cook & host and she made the best scrambled eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles Brittain, Billy Brittain, and Danny Brittain; two sisters, EvaLeen Anderson and Betty Anderson.

Lynn is survived by her twin-sister, Gwen Reid of White Deer; a son, Micah Neely and fianceé Brenda Walsh, of Amarillo; a grandson, Dawson Neely of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Aubrey Neely of Amarillo; a niece, Raelenn Lodholm of Amarillo; five nephews, Britt Reid and wife Tiffany of LaGrange, Brandon Reid and wife Bree of Panhandle, Randy Anderson, Richard Anderson, and Rodgers Anderson and family, all of Amarillo; four great-nephews, Nate Alford and Levi Reid, both of LaGrange, Kyle Lodholm and Camron Lodholm, both of Amarillo; and several great-great nephews and nieces; and other extended family.
