Magaline "Maggie" Taylor

Magaline “Maggie” Taylor, 57, of Pampa passed away on November 15, 2020 in Pampa.

Memorial services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Hudson officiating.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Maggie was born March 18, 1963 in Shamrock to Leland and Lennie Taylor. She attended school in Kelton and Shamrock.  After high school she moved to Levelland and lived there for about 10 years before moving to Shamrock. Maggie worked as a CNA at the Shamrock Nursing Home for several years.  She moved to Pampa in 2005 and later moved to Amarillo to be with her kids and grandchildren.  She eventually moved back to Pampa.  She was a homemaker and did her very best to take care of her 3 daughters.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Stephenson; her parents; a brother, Sammy Lee Taylor; and a good friend, Bobby J. Stowe.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Angie Huneycutt and Ashley Cornish both of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Rosie Adkism and husband Kenneth of Pampa, Jeanette Taylor of Twitty, Martha Corcoran of Searcy, Arkansas, and Wanda Ward of Lubbock; a brother, Leland Taylor, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Sundown; 6 grandchildren, Hezekiah Huneycutt, Allison Huneycutt, Rocky Baldwin, Ashanti Cornish, Tra-laun Jackson, Taylor Remes, and Zayden Stevens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
