Margaret Matlock Hulsey

 Margaret Matlock Hulsey, 79, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Joel Osborne, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Margaret was born on May 26, 1941 in Pampa to Earl and Gladys Beck Matlock. She attended school in Pampa throughout her childhood. Margaret married Paul Hulsey on June 3, 1957 in Pampa. She enjoyed solving sudoku puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a strong faith and was not afraid to leave her earthly body because she knew she would be going to her heavenly home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hulsey; her parents Earl and Gladys Matlock; 2 sisters, Barbara Cooper and Earlene Henderson; and 2 brothers, Don Matlock and Glen Henderson.

Margaret is survived by her 2 sons, Jamey Hulsey and wife Debbie of Florida and Donny Hulsey of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Terry Hulsey and Paula Bradshaw both of California; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several friends.
