Margaret E. Taylor, 88 of Highlands, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her daughter (Vicky Kysar- Allen) and son-in-law (Larry Allen) on December 7, 2019 at 1:37 AM due to a long and endless battle of COPD.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Old Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie with her brother, Ray Dickerson, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Margaret was born in Lefors, Texas on September 22, 1931 to mother Vira Dickerson and father A.M. Dickerson where she also attended school and lived her early childhood.
Margaret enjoyed working as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Pampa, Texas for many years, and then later moved to Highlands, Texas to join her children.
Special thanks to Omnix Hospice care, and also to her caregivers Mary Allen and niece Raven Prince for their endless care and attentiveness.
Margaret is survived by, 2 brothers Ray Dickerson of Pampa and Charles Dickerson of New Orleans, LA; 4 children, Vicky Kysar-Allen, Steve York, Vira Akridge & Phillip Kysar; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
