Marie Scribner Kilcrease, 84, of Pampa, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor at Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Mobeetie Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.
Mrs. Kilcrease was born on February 14, 1936 in Mobeetie, TX to Arch and Flora Mae Morgan Scribner. Marie graduated from Mobeetie High School in 1954. She met the young boy, George Kilcrease, in 1943. He would, on January 9, 1954, become her husband of 66 years. Marie was a homemaker to George and their four children, Melody, Jacque, Rusty, and Princess. She was a perfectionist and very prideful in everything she did. Marie loved playing the piano and would play for George almost every night. She also enjoyed being a seamstress and cooking for her family. Marie was known for her divinity at Christmas.
Marie is survived by her husband of 66 years, George Kilcrease of the home; her four children, Melody Oliphant of Pampa, Jacque Heasley and husband Sam of Greenbriar, Arkansas, Rusty Kilcrease and wife Debbie of Pampa, and Princess Clement and husband Eddie of Canyon; two sisters, Mazi Williams of Springfield, Colorado and Dutch Elliott of Pampa; a brother, Archie Jean Scribner and wife Judy of Dumas; 12 grandchildren, Christy Allison and husband Brad, Cory Oliphant and wife Tiffany, Josh Gobin and wife Erin, Michelle McMillan and husband Phil, Kellye Jasper and husband Sam, Amanda Tiedt and husband Anthony, Katie Haukebo and husband Sepp, Samantha Klause and husband John, Lacy Allen and husband Blaine, Jessica Madrid and husband Orlando, Jennifer Williams and husband Shane, and Lowry Baggett and wife Olivia; 26 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
