Martha Ann Crabtree Ellison

Martha Ann (Crabtree) Ellison, 86, of Stratford, died May 31, 2021 in Stratford.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, June 7, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Stratford with Stephen Nutt and Chris Craig officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Martha was born January 3, 1935 in Dallam County and was a 1953 graduate of Stratford High School. She married Donnie Ellison on June 3, 1953 in Stratford. Donnie passed away on September 2, 2017. Martha was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandma, and aunt. She was passionate about her faith, her family and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Glenanna Ross and husband Ron of Amarillo, and Verlie Norris and husband Larry of Stratford; a son, Ernie Ellison and wife Sheryl of Kingston, Oklahoma; Glenanna’s children, Chris Craig and wife Lyndsie of Cotton Center and their children Caleb, Hanna, Lily and Nathan; Bethany Callaway and husband Wade of Gruver, and their children, Creed, Keegan, Caris and Kinley; Verlie’s children, Shannon Norris and wife Katie of Aledo and their children Patrick and Liza, Katie Nutt and husband Stephen of Ruston, Louisiana, and their children Rylie and Morgan, and Laura Rogers and husband Jason of Stratford, their children, Alexis, Kennedy, Slade Rogers and wife Jana, Lauren Ramon and her children Trace, Lincoln and Luke; Ernie’s children, Brenna Morgan and husband Wayland of Champaign, Illinois and their son, Braden and Nathan Ellison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: brother Joe Crabtree and wife Zona of Verona, Missouri; sisters, Mary Olson of the Oslo community and Minnie Hampton of Kerrick ; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Donnie, her parents, Newt and Frances Crabtree, a brother, Charley Crabtree, son-in-law Van Brandes and a granddaughter, Jill Ellison.
