Martin Guy Brookshire, 62, of Pampa, passed away on April 19, 2025, in Amarillo.

Martin was born on October 11, 1962, in Pampa to Martin Ray and Mary Brookshire. He was raised, attended school, and was a life-long resident of Pampa. Following high school, Martin entered the oil & gas industry where he worked for a few different drilling and roustabout outfits that included Curtis Well Service and Caldwell Production.
Martin liked to collect various types of items with hopes to make them better or like new. He was a fun-loving man who was great cartoon impressionist who could mimic many different cartoon characters to amuse his family. Most of all, Martin was giving and generous man who always tried to help others. His generosity would continue even after his passing as he allowed himself to be shared by Life Gift, an organization that helps give others hope with organ and tissue donation. Martin will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Ray and Mary Brookshire; by a sister, Katherine Gilbert, and a niece, Belinda Brookshire.
His survivors include a brother, Johnnie Brookshire of Illinois; two nieces, Melissa Newton and husband Curtis, and Rebecca Hopson and husband Edward, both of Pampa; aunts, Linda Brookshire, and Ronda Brookshire- Spencer, both of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Danny Gilbert of Lefors; and by special friends, Will and Heather Mills and their family.
