Mary "Rosett" Robinson

June 22, 1945 — May 31, 2020

Mary Rosett Robinson, 74, of White Deer and formerly of Pampa, passed away May 31, 2020 in White Deer.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Rosett was born on June 22, 1945 in Guymon, Oklahoma to Erma and Harvey Ivie. She grew up and attended school and later graduated from Guymon High School. Shortly after graduating high school, she married the love of her life, Sidney Royce Robinson from Perryton. A few years later they moved to Pampa and he eventually preceded her in death in 2003.

Rosett worked for short time at the Marie Foundation but what brought her the most joy was working and serving at the Pampa Sheltered Workshop. Rosett’s faith was especially important to her and she was longtime former member of Briarwood Church and later attended First Baptist Church of Skellytown and First Baptist Church of White Deer. Rosett enjoyed arts and crafts, she liked to oil paint, sew, and work with various crafts. She was also a wedding planner. Rosett will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Rosett will be remembered as beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Rosett was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Earl Ivie; mother, Erma Lorene Hale; sister, Shirley Ruth Williams; uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ivie.

Survivors include son, Royce Robinson and wife Elizabeth of Bryan; two daughters, Kayleen Stingley and husband Bruce of Hobbs, New Mexico and  Shannon (Seitz) Wheat of Amarillo; three grandsons, Trampos Harris and wife Margie of Hobbs, New Mexico, Joseph Royce Robinson of Bryan, Tommy James Robinson of Bryan; granddaughter, Taleigh Brynne Stingley of Hobbs, New Mexico; niece, Ranea Kane and husband James of White Deer; sister, Mildred Ovalle of Hillsboro, Oregon; two brothers, Eugene Ivie of Phoenix, Arizona, David Mark Ivie of Dumas; and by a brother-in-law, Lorraine Williams.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association Nat’l Headquarters 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17 Chicago, Illinois 60601
