Mayra Arana- Rodriguez, 43, of Pampa, passed away, April 3, 2022, in Pampa.

Celebration of Life mass will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 8, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Luis Lopez, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Vigil and Rosary will be 5:30 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Francisco Perez, officiating.

Mayra was born on June 29, 1978, to Jesusema Antillon and Soccorro Arana in Ciudad Cuahtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. Mayra grew up in Mexico and where she and her husband, Martin Rodriguez met. They moved to Colorado in 1998 where they later married on September 7, 1998. Mayra and family moved to Pampa in 2014, remaining ever since.

Mayra was a dedicated member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, was active with her choir group, and served in different ways. Her family and her God were the most important things to her. Mayra will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Mayra is survived by her husband, Martin Rodriguez, Sr. of the home; two daughters, Ailyn Rodriguez and companion, Jaime Gonzalez of Borger, and Alejandra Rodriguez of the home; a son, Julian Rodriguez of the home; mother, Jesusema Antillon of Mexico; two sisters, Judith Arana and husband Jorge Ezquivel of Mexico, and Iveth Arana and husband Victor Ruiz of Mexico; a brother, Alejandro Arana and wife Guadalupe Simental of Pecos, New Mexico; mother-in-law, Elida Rodriguez and father-in-law, Leopoldo Rodriguez, both of Mexico; and other extended family.
