Pat Garrett

Pat Garrett, 82, of Pampa, died February 26, 2018 in Pampa.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Ed Sattesahn of First Assembly of God, officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 2, 2018, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma, with Pastor Randy Southerland of New Hope Baptist Church West, officiating, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Garrett was born April 27, 1935 in Duncan, Oklahoma where she attended school and graduated from Duncan High School.  She had been a resident of Pampa since 1978, moving from Duncan.  Pat married Bill Garrett in November of 1977, and he preceded her in death in 1994.  She was a homemaker for many years, and later, she worked at Pam-Tex Steel Buildings, Behrman’s and Images.  Pat loved dancing, playing cards and working crossword puzzles.  She was always impeccably dressed.  She loved being ‘Mema” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lillian Caldwell, and mother, Gladys Geessee. 

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Brown and Belinda Brown, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bonita Williamson and husband Brent of Pampa; six grandchildren, Audra Cook, Andrew Johnson, Samuel Hall, Benjamin Hall, Eric Willingham and Paige Willingham; and five great grandchildren, Keith Cook, Blake Cook, Caleb Cook, Bentley Andreen and Ryder Lemons. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
