Pat Ritthaler, 76, of Pampa, passed away November 17, 2017 in McLean. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 20, 2017, at Briarwood Church, with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Ritthaler was born August 18, 1941 in Custer County, Oklahoma. She was a 1959 graduate of Pampa High School. Pat married Charlie Ritthaler on June 27, 1959 in Pampa. After graduation, she began working for Fite Food Market until they closed. She later began her career with Dr. Keith Teague for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed baking and crocheting. Pat was a founding member of Briarwood Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved going to the lake and water skiing, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Pat was a great mom and a great “Mom Pat.” Survivors include her husband, Charlie Ritthaler of the home; two sons, Todd Ritthaler and wife Melinda of Amarillo, and Tobi Ritthaler of Smyrna, Tennessee; her mother, Jeanie “Little Granny” Smith of Pampa; and two grandsons, Tori Ritthaler and wife Gina of Corinth, and Trey Ritthaler of Amarillo. Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Darla Jean Broadbent; her father, Ferris Broadbent; and her step father, Banie Ingram Smith.
