The couple made their home at the original Urbanczyk family homestead where they have resided for the past 64 years and 9 months. In August of 1953, they welcomed their daughter Rebecca Jayne "Becky" and the following August were blessed with twins Jerald Ray and Jennifer Ann, "Jerry & Jenny." Pat relished her role as a homemaker and was the very definition of a devoted wife. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served in the Altar Society for many years. She was a tireless worker for the annual Polish Sausage Dinners. In more recent times, she enjoyed her membership in the Daughters of the Pioneers Club of White Deer. In 2011, she was presented the Family Land Heritage Award at the Texas State Capitol which recognized the 100 years the Urbanczyk family farm, founded in 1910, had existed. Pat was a high school sport enthusiast and never missed an athletic event in which her children participated. This tradition continued with her grandchildren. Granny Pat was a constant presence at every track meet, basketball game, football game, baseball game, dance recital and one-act play that her grandchildren were in. She also enjoyed watching college football and baking. Pat touched the lives of so many with her incredibly kind, nurturing, selfless love of others.
