Paula Jean Vick

Paula Jean Vick, 87, of Sherman, formerly of Pampa passed away, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Sherman.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Ruby Moultrie, pastor at First United Methodist Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Vick was born April 25, 1933 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and married Charles Vick on December 15, 1949 at Shamrock.  He preceded her in death on March 11, 2008.  She moved to Pampa in 1959 where she was a checker at Ideal Foods and a meat packer at Frank’s grocery.  Most of her life was spent as a homemaker, traveling with Charles to this pipe-fitting jobs.  Paula was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son, Stanley Vick and wife Betty Sue of Savoy; a daughter, Brenda Tennant and husband Rob of Houston; three grandchildren, Shelly Burdick and husband Bruce of Josephine, Chad Vick and wife Elizabeth of Gordonville and Ryan Vick of Dennison; two great grandsons, Keaton and Jordan.
