Peggy Miller

Peggy Miller, 70, of Pampa, passed away April 17, 2019 in Pampa.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Miller was born September 26, 1948 in Canadian to Buster and Loretta Porter.  She was raised in Canadian and later moved to Pampa where she attended beautician school as well as opening a care home on Evergreen street for several years.  Peggy loved a good cup of coffee and spending time with her family.   

Survivors include two sons, William Hamel of Pampa, and Terry Petree; a grandson, Tyler Hamel of Pampa; five sisters, Ida Swanson and husband Tom, and Mary Jo Languell and husband Gerald, all of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Debbie Clark and husband Roger and Polly Chaffin and husband Jim, all of Canadian, and Marcia Back and husband Brandon of Darrouzett; sister-in-law, Brenda Perrin of Canadian; a brother-in-law, Jack Hamel of Flippin, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Peggy was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Wayne; three brothers, Mike Porter, George Perrin and Bobby Porter; and two sisters, Donna Hamel and Diane Hornsby.
