Porfirio “Pilo” Leal

Porfirio “Pilo” Leal, 20, of Pampa, passed away on November 4, 2021 in Amarillo.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Iglesia Cristiana Canaan Church with Pastor Jose Moncayo of Renovacion Ministerio Internacional Church of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Pilo will be available for viewing at the church.

Pilo was born on December 13, 2000 in Pampa to Rebecca Urrutia and Porfirio Leal. Pilo attended school in Pampa and was a lifelong resident. After high school, he entered the work force, working for K & K, and Pilo especially enjoyed working the Breezy Ranch, and lately at the Toot’n Totum auto center as an auto tech. Pilo was a very social guy who loved people and was always the center of attention. He was the guy who always had a joke and kept everyone laughing and in a good mood. Pilo loved his girlfriend, Avery, very much and had big plans for their future together. He loved country music, his friends, and especially his family and he will be deeply missed by all.

Pilo was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Encarnacio Leal and Cruz Urrutia.

He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Urrutia of Amarillo; father, Porfirio Leal of Pampa; three sisters, Blanca Urrutia, Denise Leal, Becky Leal, all of Pampa; two brothers, Jose Alonzo Macias and wife Amy of Amarillo, and Carlos Rodolfo Urrutia and girlfriend Giovanna Guerrero of Pampa; grandmothers, Bertha Pineda and Ana Maria Leal Raga; nieces & nephews, Rosa Guerrero, Isabella Guerrero, Eduardo Guerrero, Xavier Guerrero, Aolani Macias, Nahel Macias, and nephew on the way, Lorenzo Urrutia; paternal aunts & uncles, Maria Silveria Rodriguez, Ana Maria, Enrique Leal Raga, Encarnacion Leal Raga; maternal aunts & uncles, Guadalupe Garcia, Veronica Sanchez,  Elva Urrutia, Carla Urrutia, Hector Urrutia, Jose Urrutia; his girlfriend, Avery Boling of Pampa; and Avery’s parents, Chrystal and Ricky Boling of Pampa; and other extended family.
