Rebecca Louise Olson

Rebecca Louise Olson, 65, of Pampa, passed away on January 12, 2024 in McLean.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Rebecca was born on February 14, 1958 in Galena Park to Jack and Carolyn McFayden McCollum. She moved from Arkansas to Pampa in 2003. Rebecca met Alan Olson shortly after moving to Pampa and the two were married on December 25, 2004. She was raised in the Baptist church.

She enjoyed sewing when she was able and spending time with family. Rebecca was a wonderful cook and loved to take care of people. She truly embraced the role of a homemaker.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Carolyn McCollum; and one son, Willie Lee Downhour III.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Olson of the home; two children, Angela Gatchell of Conway, Arkansas and Johnathan Olson and wife Annie of Borger; three grandchildren, Sabrina Binam, Ashley Westbrook and husband Dakota, Kylie Lewis, and DJ Olson; four great-grandchildren, Jaxson Binam, Archer Binam, James Lee Downhour, and Dakota Westbrook, Jr.; three siblings, Deborah Weaver, Michael McCollum, and Timothy McCollum and wife Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
