Rene Marie Hill, 40, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday August 6, 2017 in Pampa. Vigil and Rosary will be 6:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Hrudaya Raju Kondamudi, associate pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Liturgy of the Word will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Rene was born on November 11, 1976 in Pampa to Bob and Carmanita and was the youngest child of eleven. She attended Pampa schools and was a lifetime Pampa resident. Miss Hill was member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Rene worked many years in the food service industry. She worked at Taco Bell, United, Fiesta Foods, and lastly at Pampa Nursing Center where she was loved by the residents. In her younger days she was a competitive swimmer for the Pampa Dolphins Swim Team. Rene was a fun loving woman who had a great laugh and a contagious smile that would light up any room. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, friends, and her large and loving family. Rene was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Raymond Hill, Robbie Hill, and Ronnie Hill; and by her sister, Robin Hill- Manzanares. Survivors include two brothers, Randy Hill and wife Aubrey and Richie Hill and wife Rachel, all of Pampa; four sisters, Rhonda Hill, Renita Logan and husband Greg, all of Pampa, Richelle Pierce and husband Billy of Hedley, and Rhea Hill of Muskogee, Oklahoma; special niece, Jamie Botello and husband Robert of Pampa; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Norris and Joe Manzanares, both of Pampa; a sister-in-law, Tammy Biggers Hill of Pampa; and four close and special friends, Lynsey DeWitt, Shelia Broadbent, Ranet Addington, and Shadow King. She is also survived by three aunts, one uncle, and a large extended family that includes: nieces, nephews, cousins, and second and third cousins.
