His friend, Jeanne Moore, had this to say about Richard, “To say it's been a hard week at Wheeler Nursing Rehabilitation, would be an understatement! Heaven has gained another angel, our beloved Richard Groff! We all called him handsome and he would just smile! Richard was so loved and will be deeply missed by employees and residents of Wheeler Nursing Rehabilitation, and employees of Parkview Hospital. I always told him, if there every comes a day that we cannot be together, we will put you in our hearts and keep you forever!”
A special thank you goes to BSA Hospice of the Southwest for their overwhelming support and kindness during this bittersweet time for Richard to be able to pass without pain. When Richard passed, he was surrounded with love by the nurses and CNA'S at Wheeler Nursing Rehabilitation.
