Richard "Ricky" Henry Brown

Richard (Ricky) Henry Brown, 67, of Miami, passed away on August 15, 2023 in Pampa. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Childress Church of Christ with Trey Morgan officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Ricky was born on September 18, 1955 in Troy, NY. He is remembered by family and friends as a hardworking, faithful, and kind-hearted man who loved his family and his wife, Diana, of 26 years. “Stick”, as he was known by those close to him, was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he also had a love for NASCAR. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Austinnetta Brown of Childress, TX and two grandchildren Karter and Karlee Moody. He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Shepard. 

Ricky is survived by his wife, Diana Brown of Miami, Texas; three children, Brandon Brown and wife Alyssa of Greensburg, Kansas, Sarah Booth of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Erica Moody and husband Brandon of Haven, Kansas; a sister, Sally Shepard of Spring Branch, Texas; and  7 Grandchildren, Christina, Zachary, Jason, Keiden, Iva, Kamden, and Khloe; nieces, Brandi Epperson and Carrie Nash; great nephew, Peter Epperson and sons, great niece, Kaitlin Epperson and son; best friend and cousin, Art Brown as well as numerous beloved cousins; an uncle, Hughell (Hoot) Holt and wife Ruth, and his aunt, Jean Worley.
