Richard “Rick” Wiley, 59, of Miami, died May 14, 2018 in Amarillo.
Memorial graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Wheeler Cemetery, with Rev. Willard Kiper, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Rick was born April 1, 1959 in Amarillo. He was reared in Miami, and was a 1978 graduate of Pampa High School. He was a truck driver for 28 years. Rick enjoyed NASCAR, building different models, and he loved stock car and drag racing. He was a mentor of local youth in Miami, and his constant companion was his dog, Mikey.
Survivors include a son, James Wiley and wife Chelsea of Fort Worth; his mother, Barbara Wiley of Miami; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Wiley; a sister, Mary Frances Wiley; and grandparents, J. M. and Frances Baker, and H. M. and Leota Wiley.
