Rodolfo Tinajero, 84, of Pampa, passed away, February 26, 2021 in Amarillo.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Rev. Francisco Perez, pastor, officiating. Vigil and rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM, Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow after the Mass at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Rodolfo was born on October 12, 1936 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Matilda and Miguel Tinajero. As a young boy he grew up in Mexico. He later met Lucrecia Montoya and they later married in 1958 in Mexico. Lucrecia would precede him in death on September 6, 2015. Rodolfo worked in the concrete industry for most of his life. He and his wife came to Pampa in 2005 to be closer to family. He attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church. In his spare time, he like to play lottery and enjoyed taking his morning walks. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and by a brother.
His survivors include his four daughters, Norma Tinajero and husband Antonio, Angelina Tinajero, Concepcion Rivera and husband Victor, and Carmen Tinajero, all of Pampa; his two sons, Salvador Tinajero and wife Irene, and Martin Tinajero and wife Rosa Maria, all of Pampa; eleven grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and six sisters; and other extended family.
