Ron Wileman

Ron Wileman, 77, of Dana Point, CA, passed away on July 24, 2023 at his home.

Celebration of life services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Byron Williamson of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. A burial will follow at Roberts County Cemetery in Miami under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Ron’s service will be livestreamed through the funeral home’s website.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM -7:30 PM, Friday, August 4, 2023, at the funeral home.

Ron was born on June 19, 1946 in Long Beach, CA to two loving parents, Joyce & Winfred Wileman.  He was raised by his parents as an only child in Downey, CA. He graduated from Warren High School in Downey from the class of ’64. Ron married Kathleen on August 4, 1989.  Ron worked in the aircraft manufacturing industry as a Quality Assurance Manager for 38 years.

He was an Advanced Class licensed Ham Radio Operator (KK6DV).  Other hobbies included sailing (he owned 2 sailboats), photography, tinkering with electronics, and gardening.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Wileman and Winfred Wileman.

Surviving family are his wife, Kathleen Wileman; two sons, Jay Wileman & wife Julie Wileman, and Steve Wileman & wife Donna Wileman; four grandchildren, Ashley Belwolff, Austin Wileman, Brittney Wileman, and Cayla Wileman.; and two great-grandchildren, Emberly Belwolff, and Hanna Belwolff.
