Ruben Bravo Silva

Ruben Bravo Silva, 72, of Pampa passed away on August 19, 2021 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Francisco Perez, of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Ruben was born November 28, 1948 in Lamesa to Mike and Frances Silva. He has lived in the Pampa area most of his life. Ruben was a farmer most of his career and he also worked at the City of Pampa for several years. He loved his family and spending time with them. His hobbies included gardening, listen to music, watching old western movies, and just piddling around the house.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Becky Rodriguez; 4 brothers, Mike Silva, Jr., Tim Silva, David Silva, and Louis Silva; sister, Adelfa Silva.

Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Silva of Amarillo; 3 sisters, Clara Hall and husband James and Linda Silva all of Fort Worth, and Angie Darling and husband Rodney; 3 grandchildren, Angel Silva, Will Goundie, and Joe Goundie.
