Ruth Jinkins

Ruth Jinkins, 75, of Pampa, passed away February 14, 2019 in Pampa.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directos.

Mrs. Jinkins was born January 21, 1944 in Halley, Arkansas to Spencer and Carol Whippo.  She attended high school at Perryton High School.  She married Eddy Jinkins on October 30, 1959 in Perryton.  He preceded her in death in 1994.  Ruth had been a resident of Pampa for the past seven years.  She loved doing bead work and drawing, especially butterflies. 

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Wolf of Pampa; four grandchildren, Alexus Eagle, Christopher Patterson, Mindy Taylor and husband Alan, and Shana Thompson; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Cheryl Huckins and husband Steve, and Sandra Kay Shaw.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Spencer Jinkins; two daughters, Edy Thompson and Shana Jinkins; and a grandson, Jason Jinkins.
