Santos Martinez, 69, of Memphis passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Pampa.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Santos was born on November 02, 1951 in Tampico, Mexico to Martin and Eleuteria Gutierrez Castillo. She married Rafael Martinez in September of 1995 in Tampico. They moved to Memphis in 1999 where she resided until her passing. Santos enjoying making crafts, cooking, making tamales, crocheting, watching tv, and playing loteria. She was a member of the Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Espiritual in Memphis.

Santos was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her 7 children, Shoemy Martinez of Pampa, Jose Luis Martinez and Reynaldo Mellado, both of Mexico, Leticia Corona of Jarrell, Guadalupe Diaz of Pampa, Hector Mellado of Georgetown, and Julio Martinez of Amarillo; 10 siblings, Jose Luis Castillo, Marcos Castillo, Genaro Castillo, Miquel Castillo, Martin Castillo, Jr., Roman Castillo, Martha Castillo, Beatrice Castillo, Rosalba Castillo, and Ernestina Castillo; 23 grandchildren, Eliseo Martinez, Jose Martinez, Jazmine Mellado, Giselle Mellado, Yvette Mellado, Melanie Mellado, Edward Mellado, John Mellado, Cynthia Mellado, Fransisco Diaz, Jr., Nancy Diaz, Lizbeth Diaz, Aaron Diaz, Brianna Martinez, Yajaira Martinez, Jenessa Martinez, Jayline Martinez, Cindy Sosa, Elizabeth Sosa, Paola Sosa, Karla Corona, and Camila Corona; and 8 great-grandchildren, Alexis Diaz, Nathalia Diaz, Elvin Tinajero, Adilene Tinajero, Vincent Mellado, Mateo Magdaleno, Nathaniel Sosa, and Vianney Sosa.
