Sarah Marie Baxter, 38, of Pampa, passed away on May 23, 2021 in Pampa.

Private services will be announced at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Sarah was born on July 29, 1982 in Pampa to Floyd Baxter, Jr. and Sabra Stone. Sarah grew up and attended school in Pampa. After high school, she enrolled in college and earned her BA Business Admin in Business Management from Ashford University in San Diego, California and was on the President’s honor roll. She worked in various industries and served in many roles that included pawnshop broker, working at car dealership, in food service, and most recently and for the last three years with her dad in glass repair. She found great enjoyment in the outdoors where she loved camping and fishing with her children.

Sarah was an outgoing, free spirited, fun of life person with a smile and heart of love that touched many.  Her latest heart touching act was to obtain her Certification of Ministry so she could stay with someone dear to her at the hospital. Sarah will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Floyd Baxter, Sr. and grandfather, Bud Crow.

Her survivors include her two sons, Raiden Thompson of Branson, MO and Tony Mize of Skellytown; a daughter, Dixie Mize of Skellytown; her father, Floyd Baxter, Jr. and wife Brenda of Pampa; her mother, Sabra Stone and husband James of Pampa; six brothers, Jason Thomas and wife Sharon of Pampa, Justin Fortner and wife Allison of Ft. Worth, Texas, Brandon Baxter and wife Lauren of Pampa, Jeff Fortner and wife Malicia of Pampa, Anthony Stone and wife Victoria of Pampa , and Brandon Stone of Pampa; a sister, Lori Stone of Pennsylvania;  grandmother, Betty Baxter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandparents, Barbie and Jim Crawford of Pampa ; grandparents, Betty Mackie and Paul Musgrave of Amarillo, Texas; grandparent, Elsie Stone of Lubbock, Texas ; and an abundance of extended family and friends.
