Sharon Andrews, 73, of Pampa passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Sharon was born May 14, 1946, on a farm in Oklahoma, near Marshall, to Ralph and Imogene Rothermal. They moved to Pampa when Sharon was just 4 years old. She was a 1964 graduate of Pampa High School. On April 16, 1965 she married her high school sweetheart, best friend, and soul mate, Jan Andrews. Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother/best friend, and Nanny who loved her family dearly. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, crafts, making jewelry, and ceramics. She said she loved making something out of nothing. Sharon also enjoyed reading and was very solid and strong in her faith. She was a true prayer warrior and would read her Bible daily. She and Jan were longtime members of Central Baptist Church. Sharon was a strong person who battled type I diabetes for 58 years and was a cancer survivor. She was the backbone to her family. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Jan of the home; two daughters, Karen Andrews of Lisbon, Maine, and Tracy Shiflett and husband Richard of Spokane, Washington; her grandson, Jordon Andrews of Lisbon, Maine; a sister, Janice Brown of Pampa; two nephews, Mike Brown of Springfield, Missouri and Rick Brown of Olive Branch, Mississippi.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00-7:30PM.
