Sharon Brock, 78, of Pampa, passed away on April 18, 2024, in Pampa.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Sharon was born on September 13, 1945, in Los Angeles, California to Durant and Edna Brock. After she was born her family moved to the Phillips Bowers City Camp. Sharon spent her childhood exploring the outdoors which led her to always have an affinity for wildlife and nature. Sharon graduated from Lefors High School.
Sharon had a kind heart and was always willing to help her friends and family. She was very independent and was not one to ask for help. Sharon was extremely intelligent, always learning and studying about something. She could tell you about all of the antiques they would show on Antiques Roadshow.
Sharon loved going to the mountains in Taos, New Mexico every year. She loved seeing all the art in the area, especially if it had something to do with animals. Sharon loved all animals and would feed all the critters that would come to her house, even the skunks. She enjoyed bird watching and could name almost every bird from the sounds they made.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Durant and Edna Brock.
She is survived by her loving cat, Hillary Rodham and numerous cousins.
