Sharon Gayle Brown

Sharon Gayle Davis Brown, 79, of Pampa, passed away on November 2, 2019 in Pampa.

Celebration of life services will be 2:00 Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Larry Virnau, Chaplain of Accolade Hospice, officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Sharon was born to Wylie and Cleo Davis on September 9, 1940. She was the dietary manager at Pampa Nursing Center for 21 years before she retired.

Sharon was preceded in death by Wylie and Cleo Davis; Clyde Arden Brown; Towns Lawrence Chandler; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

She is survived by two sisters, Glenda Ruth Pecka and Nellie Williams; her children, Larry Chandler and wife Gina, Melinda Hillman and husband Vincent, Danny Chandler and wife Patti, and Mark Chandler and wife Dina; grandchildren, Madison Chandler, Jason Hillman and wife Melissa, Emily Nadeau and husband Christopher, Anna Hillman, Justin Chandler and wife Tiffiny, Jessica Chandler, and Kristyn Romines and husband Robby; great-grandchildren, Tyson and Travis Hillman, Harley Chandler, and Emily Romines; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Pampa Nursing Center and Accolade Hospice for the excellent care she received.
