Thomas Carpenter, 56, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Pampa.
Services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Juan Munoz, of Full Armor Fellowship Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Thomas was born June 5, 1965 in Riverside, Wyoming to Howard and Shirley Little Tail Carpenter. He attended school in Pampa. Thomas worked most of his life in the oilfield working for Dennis Caldwell at Caldwell Production Co. On November 5, 1999 he married Jamie Meeks in Pampa. Thomas was very proud of his American Indian heritage as he was a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. He enjoyed watching western movies, WWE, and UFC. He loved spending time with his family and loved them dearly. Thomas was a loving and caring person, who was always ready to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Carlos Soliz.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie of the home; daughter, Lindsey Carpenter and boyfriend Lance Francisco of Pampa; son, Thomas James Carpenter of Pampa; 4 sisters, Kandy Soliz and husband Daniel Martinez of Pampa, Billie Rodriguez and husband Martin of Pampa, Mary Casanova of Oklahoma City, OK, and Angie Carpenter of Yukon, OK; mother-in-law, Sue Meeks of Pampa; 2 sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hargett and husband Victor of Sturgis, MI and Tammey Hoyt of Portland, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Jerry Cruz.
The family would like to thank Interim Hospice and Pampa Regional Medical Center for their care for of Thomas during his illness.
