Wanda Davis

Wanda Davis, 79, of Pampa, passed away October 7, 2017, in Pampa, Texas. Cremation was handled under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Wanda was born on November 29, 1937 in Ardmore, OK to Clarence and Margaret Behrens. She married Johnnie “J. R.” Davis in 1954 in Wheeler. They moved to Pampa in 1960. She was a part-time bookkeeper for her husband’s businesses, Davis Tree Service and Davis Tire Service.  Johnnie preceded her in death on January 3, 2017.  Wanda was a homemaker. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Wanda loved birds, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include four daughters, Lucille Romero of Pampa, Regina Romero and husband Felipe of Pampa, Tonyia Davis of Pampa, Amanda Smith and husband Luke of Pampa; one son, Ray Davis and wife Carla of Pampa; a sister, Margaret Terry of Pampa; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
