Willene Evon Imgarten

Willene Evon Imgarten, 88, formerly of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jim Powell, retired Baptist minister, officiating.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Imgarten was born May 12, 1931 in Sweetwater, Oklahoma to William and Eva Cotts.  She lived most of her life in Pampa, moving to Laramie, Wyoming in 2011 to be closer to her son.  She married Kenneth Imgarten on February 14, 1986 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2007.  While she lived in Pampa, she was a long-time member of Hobart Baptist Church and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Evon enjoyed oil painting in her spare time and was very proud of her projects.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stanley Cotts.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Courtland French and wife Diane of Laramie, WY and Craig French of Florien, LA; a brother, Billy Cotts of Ruskin, FL; a grandson, George French and wife Jamie of Laramie, WY; and a great grandson, Wyatt French.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be made to Hobart Baptist Church, 1100 W. Crawford, Pampa, Texas 79065.
