William "Bill" Lewis

William “Bill” Lewis, 56, of Pampa, passed away December 14, 2018 in Pampa.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bill was born June 22, 1962 in Pampa to James and Marilyn Lewis. He was a 1981 graduate of Pampa High School, and after graduation, he began farming for the Vanderburg family for several years. Bill worked for close to 20 years for Air Liquide in Borger before his career with Atmos Energy where he worked for 15 years and was still employed there at the time of his death. He married Vatsana “Nancy” Oudamsak on September 29, 2015 in Pampa. He served on the Top O’ Texas Rodeo Association board for several years, and was involved in the Moose Lodge # 1385. Bill enjoyed going to the mountains and the lake with his family. He would help anybody in need. He enjoyed going to the movies. Bill and Nancy were able to purchase Nancy’s Nail Salon this past year and he was very proud of that accomplishment. He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vatsana “Nancy” Lewis of the home; three sons, Ryan Lewis and wife Amber, Erick Lewis and wife Darby, and Oliver Lewis, all of Pampa; a stepson, Owen Boutsamary of Pampa; two stepdaughters, Angie Boutsamary and Amy Boutsamary, both of Pampa; a sister, Debbie Raymond of North Richland Hills; a brother, Howard Lewis and wife Michele of Westminster, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Courtney Lewis, Braydin Lewis, Hagen Lewis and Laramie Lewis, all of Pampa. Bill was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Paul Raymond; and an uncle, Harold Lewis.

Memorials may be made to Shriners International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:30 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
