Willie Lee Downhour, III, 42, of Pampa, died February 19, 2018 in Amarillo.
There are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Willie was born July 22, 1975 in Pasadena. He graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Arkansas. He married Elizabeth Reid, his high school sweetheart, on December 28, 1995 in Marshall, Arkansas. He had lived back and forth between Texas and Arkansas to be close to family.
Willie was a “Jack of all trades.” He loved working with his hands. He enjoyed playing games on his Play Station, playing Farkle, and enjoyed watching WWE. Willie loved spending time with his family. He was a huge animal lover. He always tried hard to do the right thing, and he never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Downhour of the home; two daughters, Sabrina Ann Binam and husband Jacob, and Ashley Renee Downhour, all Green Forrest, Arkansas; mother and stepfather, Rebecca Olson and husband Alan of Pampa; father and stepmother, Willie Downhour, Jr. and wife Diane of Baytown; a grandson, Jaxson Lee Binam of Green Forrest, Arkansas; a sister; Angela Gatchell and husband Jody of Conway, Arkansas; two brothers, Michael Downhour of Baytown and Jonathan Olson of Pampa; two step-sisters, Christina Gordon of Boling, and Mary Jones of Atascocita; and a niece, Kylie Lewis of Conway, Arkansas.
A visitation room will be available from 1:00-8:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, for those who would care to come by and sign the guest register.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
