Wilma Mason

Wilma Lou Mason, 88, of Pampa passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Amarillo.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dale Meadows, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Miss Mason was born on November 29, 1932 in Wheeler to Clifford and Ruby Lamberth Mason. Wilma attended school at Kelton graduating in 1951 as Valedictorian of her class. She enjoyed playing all sports at Kelton. Wilma came to Pampa in 1951 and worked for Ott Shewmaker Insurance and Real Estate and Duncan Insurance for 43 years. She retired in 1997. She was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ where she taught children's Bible classes for 45 years. Wilma was also active in several programs at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Dot Weatherly and Evelyn Mason; and a brother, Carl Mason.

Wilma is survived by five nephews, Mike Mason, Dan Mason, Steve Weatherly, and Chris Mason all of Amarillo, Mason Weatherly of North Carolina, and Cliff Mason of Amarillo; 2 nieces Carla Jan Cannon of Amarillo and Dreka Nachlinger of Katy.
