Zachary Earl Srygley

Zachary Earl Srygley, 67, of Amarillo, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Pampa.

The family will have a service for Zachary at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Zachary was born in Borger, TX on December 16, 1956, to Ralph Emer Srygley and Ova Alene Pickard Srygley. He was raised and attended school in Borger. After finishing high school, he entered the workforce. Zachary worked for Connor Industries for several years as a machinist and welder. Later, Zachary would have to leave work due to his disability. 

Zachary appreciated the outdoors, and he found a lot of enjoyment hunting, fishing, and hiking. He also enjoyed working with leather, reading American history, and bicycling. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Jerrie Ford Spillman; and by a sister, Tamera Carlene Srygley.

Zachary is survived by three sisters, Renee Geiger and husband George of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Melissa Spillman of Dewey, Oklahoma, and Rachel Hill and husband Jerry of Lefors, TX; and by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
