Zane Wilford Hall

Zane Wilford Hall, 92, of Pampa, died November 6, 2017 in Spearman. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 10, 2017, at First Christian Church, with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Friday at Heart Cemetery in Booker under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Hall was born April 21, 1925 in Burbank, California, and was a 1943 graduate of Booker High School in Booker. He married Catherine White on September 21, 1947 in Spearman. She preceded him on March 9, 1998. Zane had been a resident of Pampa since 1954. He was a materials clerk for Pipeline Services, and a clerk at various lumber yards, retiring in 2011. He was a former member of Pampa Lions Club and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, and a current member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Aleta Jackson of Spearman; seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Zane was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Ballard; a sister, Betty Hill; and a granddaughter, Shannon Ballard. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, Texas 79065. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Thursday, November 9 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
